This weekend wrapped up MUN’s busy & successful fall travel season. In October, Costa student delegates headed north to San Francisco to compete in BearMUN at Cal, and south to Cerritos to compete in the local novice conference. In the month of November over 100 Model UN students competed in
Mira Costa’s MUN program started their season with the first local conference of the year, Edison MUN. Over 90 students participated in the conference, debating issues such as child labor, cybersecurity, and ocean preservation. The students worked by researching and writing papers, then working in class with teachers and peers.
Mira Costa MUN hosted a Cup Pong at this year’s hometown fair. The booth was extremely successful, and enjoyable for everyone that participated. The team was raising money for thier upcoming travel conferences to Montreal and Princeton.
