Spring Session 1: Sunday, February 21, 2021

Spring Session 2: Sunday, March 29, 2021

Deadline to enroll:

Spring Session 1: Thursday, March 4 at midnight

Spring Session 2: Thursday, April 22 at midnight

Classes will be confirmed or canceled based on enrollment at that time.

Enrollment after deadline: If space permits, students may still enroll in a class at the full session fee.

Wait List: If your desired class is full, please add your child to the “wait list.” You will be notified by email if another class has been opened or space has opened up. Your student will not be confirmed in the class until you log in and complete the registration process, including providing a credit card for payment.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

This policy supersedes any cancellation policy a vendor may have. Once registration is complete, your child will be considered enrolled. Your credit card will not be charged until after the first class meeting. If a withdrawal request is received prior to the 2nd class, course fees are refundable less the cost of the first class. After the second class, no refunds will be issued. Please note, if enrollment is low, your cancellation may result in cancellation of the class entirely.

Class Confirmation Information

Classes are filled on a first come basis and may be canceled/adjusted if necessary due to insufficient enrollment.

Zoom Confirmation Information

All classes will be held virtually via Zoom. You will be provided a zoom link during the registration process. It is important that you register your email address prior to the start of class as no student will be allowed to access the zoom link without prior registration. Advance registration protects the security of the virtual classroom environment.

A note to parents/guardians: While MBX After School Enrichment classes are held virtually, all instructors are finger-printed and background checked before they are allowed to work with children. Additionally, MBX asks that students are appropriately supervised while participating in the virtual class to ensure a safe environment is maintained at all times.

Online Course Policy

Parent is responsible for start date, log-in times and attendance. Parent agrees to comply with age appropriate supervision and accepts full responsibility for student safety in the home. Parent agrees to provide the necessary open space, free of obstructions for students to participate in classes safely. Parent agrees to provide all needed materials including a computer/laptop/device with webcam, internet connectivity, the Zoom app, and clothing and supplies appropriate to the activities. Parents accept that poor internet connectivity can result in spotty and periodic freezing and/or audio lapses and internet connectivity is not the responsibility of MBX. Classes will not be made up or refunded due to internet connectivity issues.

Student Code of Conduct

A safe and positive learning environment will be maintained at all times, which includes adhering to respectful distance learning protocols. All rules and regulations observed during the school day will be upheld throughout the enrichment classes. Students are expected be attentive, be appropriately attired and to have their cameras on at all times. They are expected to respect the personal rights of their peers and to abide by the expectations of instructors and MBX Foundation staff. In the event of misconduct, or disruptive behavior, the parent will be notified. If the unacceptable behavior is repeated, the child will be removed from the remaining classes. The MBX Foundation thanks students and parents for respecting the Code of Conduct and for contributing to an enjoyable and enriching virtual experience for all children.
