Girls Lacrosse faces Redondo in first round of playoffs!

Mira Costa Girls Lacrosse commences CIF Playoffs beginning April 30 at 5:00 pm. Based on the strength of schedule, the team is in Division 1 along with other elite High Schools.  That includes cross-town rival, Redondo Union, whom Costa will meet on Tuesday April 30 at 5 pm at Redondo

Girls Lacrosse celebrates season at banquet!

The annual end of year Mira Costa Girls Lacrosse Banquet was held this past Tuesday, June 5.  The night’s festivities celebrated a successful season for both JV and Varsity, the scholar athletes, individual performances and the pending graduation of the three seniors – Jamie Averch, Kallie Collett and Amalia Lohuis.

Girls Lacrosse ended their season last Friday with a loss to Palos Verdes and finished the season with a 12-7 overall record and 9-7 in league.  We begin CIF Playoffs on Tuesday with a 13 seed for all of LA County and 87th in the state.  We are playing Cate School in

After falling to Glendale 10-5 on March 13th, the Lady Mustangs Varsity Lacrosse team bounced back with resounding wins over La Canada (16-6) on March 15 and Culver City (14-5) on March 21. Monday’s game against cross-town and conference rival Redondo ended in 14-6 loss and moved Mira Costa to second place

Girls Lacrosse has impressive preseason, 7-1!

Girls Lacrosse is off to an amazing start, winning their regular season games over Hamilton, Palisades and El Segundo, as well as winning the championship at the Rose Bowl Challenge last weekend. This past weekend they went 1 and 1 at the OC tournament, for an overall record of 7-1.
