The $5 million artificial turf field project, jointly funded by MBX Foundation and the Manhattan Beach Unified School District, opened this weekend hosting the Costa Band Rehearse-a-thonon Saturday and youth soccer and flag football games on Sunday. The field, nine years in planning, will be home for Costa sports such as football,
