Swim Update

A HUGE congratulations to our Costa CIF Swimmers, who placed an impressive 9th (girls) and 17th (boys) overall yesterday in the Division 1 Championships!  We are so proud of this team for such an amazing accomplishment in the pool, and Costa team spirit was in full force on the deck!  Top 8 finishes below in each event earned medals, while top 16 earned team points:

  • 3rd place – Girls 200 Medley Relay – Mia Crisera, Iyanah Samayoa, Delaney Herr, Shea Steggell. The time of 1:46.20 lowers their own school record!
  • 3rd place – Girls 200 Free Relay – Shea Steggell, Katie Kabealo, Mia Crisera, Delaney Herr
  • 7th place – Girls 100 Breast – Iyanah Samayoa, who lowered her own school record with a time of 1:05.72!
  • 7th place Boys 500 Free – Zack Yakubik
  • 9th place – Boys 500 Free – Ben Tunila
  • 9th place – Girls 100 Fly – Delaney Herr
  • 9th place – Girls 100 Back – Delaney Herr
  • 10th place – Boys 500 Free – Wilson Tunila
  • 13th place – Boys 50 Free – Denzel Tate
  • 13th place – Girls 200 Free – Mia Crisera
  • 15th place – Boys 200 Free Relay – Luka Van Dijk, James Coyne, Fred Brown, Kyle Capili
