Boys’ Soccer continues season undefeated!
Boys’ Soccer continues it’s undefeated season with a Bay League record of 8-0-0 and 16-0-3 overall. Costa beat Palos Verdes
1-0 on Tuesday with the overtime “golden goal” scored by Josh Gaudiano. Zachary Cochran was fantastic in goal once again. Malcolm Kluth and Colton Flake continue to be the key to the team’s success as the 2 central defenders. Malcolm got the assist to Josh.
The team then beat Leuzinger 3-1 Friday night on goals from Josh, Pedro Rodriguez-Borlado and Max Haber. Drew Rohm and Zach split the game in goal. It was a tough game that took a great team effort to come back from being down 1-0 at halftime. Reed Hildyard, Carson Nguyen and Alex Reig and Pedro played great in the midfield. Having a healthy, strong Ian Sinkowitz back on our defensive line has been crucial.
Monday night, Jan 28th is “Senior Night”. The team plays Centennial at 6:00pm and a win will clinch the Bay League Championship outright before the final league game at Redondo Wednesday night.
