From our student MUN press:

The Mira Costa Model UN Program attended the Canadian High Schools Model United Nations Conference (CAHSMUN) in Vancouver, Canada. Our delegates delivered an excellent performance, earning the Best Large Delegation Award for the school, along with various Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, and Commendation Awards. In addition, our students experienced a true adventure around Vancouver—seeing the Capilano Suspension Bridge, rap battling to determine the winner of the snow-filled scavenger hunt around Grouse Mountain, walking around the Granville Island Market place, and so much more! Locally, our Advanced Program delegates and our Intro-to-MUN delegates attended Huntington Beach’s Novice Surf City Conference, which featured a special Advanced committee where experienced delegates could compete. Overall, Mira Costa had a great 2024-2025 Model UN season, and we look forward to closing the year with a fantastic banquet!
