Girls Flag Football Clinics

Interested in playing the fastest growing sport in the nation? Join the Girls Flag Football program at upcoming free clinics (note, current 8th graders are not allowed to participate until after May 1). Whether you’re new or experienced, this is a great chance to see if Costa Flag is for you. All clinics are on the West Field at Costa, and take place from 330-5p on April 15, 21, 28, May 5, 12 and 19. Please bring cleats and gloves (if you have them), water bottle and a game-ready mindset.

Tryout Info

Tryouts are May 27 and 28, 2025 at 3:30pm on the West Field at Mira Costa. The entrance is on Meadows.

YES…8th graders NEED to come to this tryout. We will not have a make-up. Teams will be selected shortly thereafter.

We will hold clinics before tryouts for returning players and 8th graders. We highly recommend the players attend. It is a great way to meet people and participate in some of the drills.

Clinics will be on April 23, 30 and May 7, 14, 21, 2025. Starts at 3:30pm on the West Field at Mira Costa. The entrance is on Meadows.

Important Info

Girls Flag Football is a Fall sport.
Fall camp is August 11 to 15, 2025. This is MANDATORY.

First game is August 21, 2025.

We will play in the Bay League, and our season runs August until November.

We will have two teams, JV and Varsity, which have 18 to 20 players each.

This is a CUT sport.
