The Boys Volleyball Team endes its season

The Boys Volleyball Team ended its season last night with a 5 set loss to Beckman High School in the first round of the CIF State Playoffs.  The Mira Costa squad earned a bid to the State Tournament with two dramatic wins in the Southern Section playoffs, first against Corona Del Mar and then against Mater Dei, each of whom had defeated Costa in regular season play.  Many thanks to Head Coach Avery Drost, Assistant Coach Greg Snyder, and Assistant Coach Mike Cook for a fabulous season and post-season run!  And on behalf of the FS and JV families, thank you to FS Coach Ryan Olson and JV Coach Shane Stroyke for leading those squads through an incredible season.
