Mark your calendars now for tryouts for boys tennis with our amazing Coaches Mark Mcguire and Allen Yap who led the team to a CIF Division 1 Championship last year! Meet at the Costa courts after 5th period ready to play.

December 12-16th, 2022

Monday 12/12 2:30-6pm FRESHMAN AND ANY NEW PLAYERS

Tuesday 12/13 2:30-6pm ALL PLAYERS

Wednesday 12/14 2:30-6pm ALL PLAYERS

Thursday 12/15 2:30-6pm ALL PLAYERS

Tryout Info

Boys Tennis is a Spring Sport.

Tennis is a cut sport and there is a Varsity and JV team.
Try-outs are the first week or two of December. Parents/players are informed by email of results within a few days after tryouts. The tryout process is to attend three practices during the tryout period.
It is very difficult to make the team without experience, but it is not required. Players should compete at the junior level.
Season begins the first day of second semester and runs through mid to late May. There is no practice or play on weekends and school holidays, including Thanksgiving, Winter Break, February Break, and Spring Break.
There is no summer obligation, although there is a summer school PE class offered which is not related to the team in any way. However, participation in that class can give boys who intend to try out an opportunity to make an early impression.
