2023 Boys Tennis Season comes to an end

Our Varsity team concluded their season with a winning record and selection into CIF D-1. Best of luck to our graduating seniors Ethan Crowley, Jake Burns, Nick Beaupre, Nicolas Buchta and Nick Wong!

Congratulations to the JV Boys tennis team for an undefeated season and an all-Costa Bay League finals for Singles and Doubles. Free Perkinson was the Singles Champion with Luuk van Meurs as the Singles Finalist. Cameron Hughes and Finn Gregory were the Doubles Champions with Ryan Nimitsilpa and Christofer Nahlinder as Doubles Finalists.

Tryout Info

Boys Tennis is a Spring Sport.

Tennis is a cut sport and there is a Varsity and JV team.
Try-outs are the first week or two of December. Parents/players are informed by email of results within a few days after tryouts. The tryout process is to attend three practices during the tryout period.
It is very difficult to make the team without experience, but it is not required. Players should compete at the junior level.
Season begins the first day of second semester and runs through mid to late May. There is no practice or play on weekends and school holidays, including Thanksgiving, Winter Break, February Break, and Spring Break.
There is no summer obligation, although there is a summer school PE class offered which is not related to the team in any way. However, participation in that class can give boys who intend to try out an opportunity to make an early impression.
