Costa Ruggers host Englanders!
The Mira Costa Boys and Girls Rugby teams hosted the Caterham School of London, England to a day of Touch Rugby on the beach. The Caterham boys are on a pre-season tour of the West Coast. Unfortunately, as the Costa season is a few months off, the boys from Costa were unable to play the Caterham side. Nevertheless, the two schools and the Los Angeles Rugby Club men’s side hit the beach for an extremely fun day of Touch Rugby. Needless to say the boys from England loved the experience of playing on the beaches of Manhattan and in 80 degree weather. Meanwhile the temperature in London was a balmy 46 degrees with rain!
