Wrapping up 2025

After an eventful and stressful weekend, our MUNners successfully concluded our annual conference, LAIMUN XXXI. This year’s conference hosted delegates from schools across the South Bay and beyond, featuring 15 novice and 15 advanced committees. In the months leading up to the conference, our students worked tirelessly as chairs, legals, and members of the secretariat to ensure LAIMUN ran smoothly. We are incredibly proud of our staff’s dedication and thrilled with LAIMUN’s success. This year’s conference was dedicated to the memory of Ryan James, and through our fundraising efforts, we raised $1,700 to support epilepsy awareness & the fight for a cure.

As the semester comes to an end, our delegates are preparing for the upcoming spring conferences. Some students will travel to compete at the prestigious Harvard Model United Nations conference, while others will participate in local conferences such as SBIMUN and Surf City MUN. We look forward to seeing how well all our MUNners perform!
