Model UN forges ahead with award-winning program!

Mira Costa Model UN continues to forge ahead with an award-winning program despite being in on-line learning mode. Although local conferences will not be held in person, students will participate in 3 virtual Model UN conferences at Cerritos, Edison, and Huntington.  The students are working hard “in class” on debate practice.  Freshman and sophomore TA’s are mentoring the newer students under the wing of the fantastic advisors.

Mira Costa will also host its own highly regarded annual LAIMUN conference.  The SG’s are working with the LAIMUN staff to create an exceptional virtual conference for the first weekend in December.

All travel conferences for the fall semester have been cancelled by the college hosts but everyone is looking forward to better news after the new year when things are reassessed.
