The Boys Golf Team has had a very competitive season!

Our Varsity went 9-1 in Bay League and made strong showings in three tournaments outside of league:

Ayala 2nd place
South Bay invitational 4th place
Walnut Invitational 4th place

CIF ranks Mira Costa Boys Golf 25th out of 338 teams in the Southern Section. CIF Qualifier report next month. Shout out to Ford Finster for committing to play college golf at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota. We started a new tradition for senior recognition day called “The Seniors”. The seniors played against each other and received honorary Green Jackets for their hard work and commitment to the program! We wish them well and a lifetime of playing golf! Go Mustangs!

Thursday, November 21, 2024 at The Lakes.
Friday, November 22, 2024 at Westdrift.
Monday, December 2, 2024 at Chester Washington
Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Alondra

Assigned tee times will be emailed to players directly. Plan to be at courses by 3:30pm at the latest. Please reach out to Mike Rosenthal at
Season begins in January and runs through May. Players can expect to have practices/play through February Break and Spring Break. It is optional to take it as a PE class for the remainder of the year.
There is an optional summer golf class through MB/X Summer School. Please contact the coach in the spring if you are interested.
IMPORTANT: Incoming Freshmen per CIF rules may not contact the coach until they have graduated from middle school. All inquiries prior to this time should be made through the Booster Co-Presidents
