All District Choral Concert: On Thursday, February 27, Mira Costa High School hosted an evening of choral musical performances, featuring Mira Costa’s Vocal Ensemble, MBMS Choirs (Sand & Sea Singers, Ocean Wave Chorale, and Madrigal Singers), the 5th Grade MBUSD Choirs, and the Elementary 4th and 5th Grade Honor Choir.
In addition to highlighting the exceptional talent of MBUSD singers, the event aimed to build a bridge of friendship, music and learning. The concert demonstrated not just the fulfilling choral experience of our programs, but also the strength and support this community provides. It was a wonderful evening of choral music!
MCHS Choirs Spring Shoe Drive: March 28, 2020
Doing some Spring cleaning? Then gather up those shoes and donate them to the MCHS Choirs Shoe Drive Fundraiser! Ask your family, friends, and neighbors to clean out their closets, too, and help support the Mira Costa Choirs!
Please gather up your unwanted sneakers, sandals, athletic, and casual or dress shoes (please tie or rubber band pairs together). NOTE: no heels, wedges, fluffy slippers, snow boots, or metal cleats.
Community Shoe Drop-off is Saturday, March 28 in the MCHS parking lot from 10am – 12pm.
The shoes will be donated to Angel Bins, who collects and exports shoes to developing countries, meeting the demand for quality shoes at low cost, therefore deferring waste from landfills and creating employment opportunities in the US and abroad.
