Our Boys Volleyball Program is currently on fire!

After taking second in the Redondo/Mira Costa Classic last month, losing its first (and only) match this season to CDM, our Varsity Mustangs immediately rebounded and just four days later, swept CDM in three sets in their house! Since that time, our Varsity team has not lost a game, besting Huntington Beach in the semis and sweeping CDM in the finals to earn the title of Best of the West on March 7th in San Diego! We are currently the #1 ranked high school program in the country. But who’s bragging?

Our two other squads have had success this season as well. Our JV team took third at the RUHS JV Invitational, and our Frosh/Soph team gave Redondo’s JV squad (you read that right — their JV squad!) a run for their money at that same tournament.

Our Mustangs have several home games this March, including the match-up of the year — high school volleyball’s biggest rivalry — Costa v. Loyola on March 20th. Varsity plays at 6pm, JV at 4:45pm and Frosh/Soph at 3:30pm. Please show your spirit and cheer on your Mustangs at HOME this year, as they plan another beat down on Loyola to continue their quest for a repeat national championship!
