Costa Boys Beach Volleyball Seeded #1, Heading to IBVL Finals
The Costa Boys Beach Volleyball team triumphed at the IBVL Tournament of Champions on Saturday September 28, 2019 as JV and Varsity Champions.
Costa sophomore partners, Wyatt Dyer and Mick Bakos, beat fellow Costa junior partners, Troy McDonald and Austin Stuard, in an all Mira Costa JV Finals.
Partners Jack Walmer and Ben Coordt defeated their Notre Dame High School opponents in an exciting Varsity Final.
Mira Costa remains seeded #1 as they move into the IBVL Playoffs, which begin Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Dockweiler State Beach. Costa will face re-matches against many strong Bay League opponents as they seek to obtain the IBVL Championship for the 4th year in a row.
