A HUGE congratulations to our Costa CIF Swimmers, who placed an impressive 9th (girls) and 17th (boys) overall yesterday in the Division 1 Championships! After a last minute invite to the Friday Night Lights Meet in Torrance on 4/15, and the day after their victorious dual meet vs. Culver City, swimmers from Mira Costa’s Varsity team swept the competition and defeated 11 other schools, winning both Boys and Girls divisions. Swim & Dive are excited to announce that we have a new Coach! Coach Silva is a newly appointed teacher to the Mira Costa Science Department, and the team is fortunate that she is also passionate about coaching swim and will be joining this season as a Varsity Coach. Coach
