With a disappointing preseason record of 0-7, it was not looking good for the Mustangs and a CIF playoff opportunity. But with grit and determination, Costa clawed their way back to make it to the Division 6 CIF Championships, beating Murrietta Mesa HS in the semi-finals to find themselves hosting
The JV Team finished the season 7-3 and WON BAY LEAGUE! The Frosh Team finished the season 6-4 with a victory over RUHS 34-16! Varsity made it to the CIF playoffs this past month and are slotted in the Division 6 bracket. They won the 1st round vs. Yucaipa High
