Rugby – Girls

The Mira Costa Girls Rugby program is a non-cut physical sports program that allows female athletes in every grade to compete as well as develop their skills to the next level. The Mira Costa Girls Rugby team have rapidly growing Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. They had a fantastic 2022-23 season finishing 4th in the top division for Southern California Rugby. The Girls Rugby team also played abroad in an international tournament in Italy (April 2023), playing teams from Rome, Florence and Padova. In addition to a fun and competitive athletic sport, the program offers tremendous camaraderie and team bonding experiences for the players.


Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser : January 27, 2024 from 9am-1pm
Join the Mira Costa Boys’ and Girls’ Rugby Teams at Waller Stadium for their annual pancake breakfast fundraiser on January 27, 2024 from 9am-1pm. Tickets are $15 per person and include all you can eat pancakes, bacon, juice, coffee and fruit, plus enjoy watching the teams play rugby while you eat.  If you aren’t able to join us, please consider making a donation to support the program.

Girls End the Season as the No. 2 Team in SCRIF
