MCHS Boys Beach Volleyball is a fall sport.
MCHS Boys Beach Volleyball is a cut sport.

To ensure optimal coach to player ratios, the program will be capped at 60 players TOTAL across the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Frosh/Soph squads.

MCHS Boys Beach Volleyball Pre-Tryout Clinics – 8/18-8/19/26

Pre-tryout Clinics for the Boys Beach Volleyball Team will be on Tues Aug 18, 2026 from 3:30-5:30pm and Wed Aug 19, 2026 from 3:30-5:30pm at 2nd Street and the Strand in Manhattan Beach. Athletes may attend one or both days.

Grades: 9-12th: Pre-tryout clinics are optional but strongly encouraged, especially for new or incoming players / Register here

PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Practices will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00pm at 2nd St. and the Strand in MB. Season starts the week of August 24, 2026 and tournaments usually go until the first week of November. Practices will still be held for the duration of the semester once tournaments are finished.

POST SEASON / “BEACH P.E.”
The High School Boys Volleyball Season ends in early November. Program participants will be required to continue to train twice a week on the beach with the season’s coaching staff. Dates/times will be determined by Coach Seain and athletes prior to the end of the season.

PARENT MEETING
Head Coach Seain Cook will lead a MANDATORY parent meeting in August after tryouts. This is a great opportunity to meet Coach Seain, his coaching staff, the Booster Board, and learn more about the program.
