MBX FLEX Summer School

MBX FLEX is “flexible schedule” courses allowing students to create a summer school plan that works for them and their own unique learning style. Students will meet with credentialed teachers in a personalized learning environment with a blend of face-to-face (IN PERSON) and online coursework.  Students will meet with teachers for 20, 2-hour or 24, 3-hour sessions for 2 semester courses (science classes meet for 24, 3-hour sessions) and 10, 2-hour block sessions for 1 semester classes, plus proctored tests, with the option of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 teacher/student ratios. We also offer 1:4 ratio classes in World History, US History, Government and Economics.

While schedules are flexible and intended to meet your needs, MBX FLEX is a condensed and rigorous academic curriculum. Students are expected to complete work outside of the scheduled sessions and come prepared for each session. Students electing 1:2 or more ratios must follow identical schedules and be academically compatible. It is the responsibility of the student to find partners for 1:2 and higher ratios. MBX will keep a list of students requesting partners, however, will not take responsibility for confirming or matching compatible partners. Students who do not have partners may register in anticipation of finding a partner. However, if no partner is found, they will be withdrawn from the class, refunded the tuition less 10% administration fee. Alternatively, you may request to be put on a list for a partner by emailing Jennifer Williams (). MBX will not guarantee a compatible partner will be found.
