Volleyball End of Season

CIF UPDATE: Congratulations to our Varsity team for going undefeated in CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs until falling to Sierra Canyon in the Finals on 11/5–but then turning around and defeating that same team in the CIF State Open Division Quarterfinals one week later! The Mustangs will play Cathedral Catholic in the State Semi-Final on 11/15.

SENIOR NIGHT: Last month, the program honored its ten amazing seniors at a Senior Night event emceed by Mira Costa alum, Olympian and ESPN Commentator Holly McPeak. Congrats to our amazing seniors: Ameena Campbell, Jaylen Clark, Taylor Dunlap, Carly Greskovics, Isabella Healy, Erin Inskeep, Emilia Kupiec, Tanon Rosenthal, Georgia Walker and Drew Wright. Following the ceremony, the seniors took the court to sweep SAMO.

COLLEGE SIGNING DAY: Signing Day was a huge success for the program, with the following six seniors signing their national Letters of Intent at Costa’s special Fall Signing Day ceremony: Ameena Campbell, Cal State Fullerton; Jaylen Clark, TCU; Carly Greskovics, University of Michigan; Drew Wright, Northwestern University; Erin Inskeep, Cal Poly SLO (beach); Tanon Rosenthal, University of Arizona (beach).
