Swim & Dive New Coach Announcement!

Swim & Dive are excited to announce that we have a new Coach! Coach Silva is a newly appointed teacher to the Mira Costa Science Department, and the team is fortunate that she is also passionate about coaching swim and will be joining this season as a Varsity Coach. Coach Silva is originally from Illinois where she swam competitively throughout high school and college. She has coached a variety of teams since, including summer leagues, private teams, and high school. For the past 6 years she has been the Head Coach at University High School in West LA. She loves the water and spends her free time scuba diving local beaches in SoCal.
