Swim and Dive is a Spring Sport.

May 28: Season ends
Due to Covid-19 and social distancing requirements, swim team will be a cut sport for the 2020-2021 season. There will be Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. Both Varsity and Junior Varsity are competitive groups and athletes will be expected to attend meets outside of regular school hours, in addition to pre-season dryland training.
Swim team is a Spring sport and tryouts are held in December. The season begins in early March and ends in mid-May. The tryout date (and a make-up date) will be determined by the coaches. Swimmers will be timed in 100 yards of each of the four strokes: freestyle, butterfly, backstroke and breaststroke. The coaches will determine formation of teams based upon tryout times.
Previous Club Swimming experience is recommended.
There will be Spring break practices for Varsity swimmers. There is no summer obligation.

All athletes are required to fill out the 8 to18 Athletic Packet prior to trying out. If you played a fall or winter sport, please indicate that you are also swimming.
