Boys Volleyball has success in Hawaii!
Mira Costa boys volleyball headed to Hawaii over Spring Break for the Clash of the Titans series. Volleyball powerhouse Punahou High School invites three other volleyball programs to come together and take them, and each other, on. Costa defeated Sage Creek and Kamehameha on Wednesday and Thursday. Costa then faced Punahou on Friday. Punahou is considered by many to be the top team in the country this year. They have not dropped a single set all season, until they played CostaC! Costa took a set off of Punahou before ultimately losing 3 to 1 in tight sets.
The Frosh/Soph team and the JV team both defeated crosstown rival Loyola High School in three sets on Friday, April 13th, and all three squads defeated Peninsula High School on Tuesday, April 17th.
Mira Costa is 4-1 in league play and 13-3 overall.
