Announcing Spring Break 2019 Europe Tour – Cruise on the Danube River

The Mira Costa Choir Department is announcing an amazing opportunity for Costa students, families, and friends to tour with the Mira Costa Festival Choir on the Danube River!  The tour is scheduled for spring 2019 (not this spring!) and is on one of Amawaterways’ newest ships, the Amalea. The ship will debut in 2018.  The tour will be on the Danube River from Budapest, Hungary to Vilsfhofen, Germany.  Stops along the way include Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, and Melk. The Festival Choir, made up of Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors, will sing in notable cathedrals, share a concert at the Melk Abbey with the high school choir, and will present a unique concert in Salzburg. This tour is not only for our students, but also for interested family, friends, and any community members that would like to travel with the Festival Choir on the 5-star ship.  Last year’s tour on the Rhine River was exceptional in every sense of the word, and this tour promises the same.
